HANGING YOUR HAMMOCK

Always hold the hammock in place before you attached any fixings to test the distances. Two fixed points are necessary to hang your hammock. The ideal positions for these two points are 3.0m - 4.0m for double hammocks Giving a nice loose curve 30cm off the ground when you sit in your hammock (SEE FIGURE 1). If the space between the two fixed points is too large for you to hang your hammock, you can use spring clips, ropes or chains to enlarge the distance.If you have to attach a fix point to masonry or concrete ask your local hardware shop for advice and check the fix point will take the intended weight.

HANDLING YOUR HAMMOCK
When handling the hammock, always hold it by the handles to avoid tangling. Never leave your hammock in the rain, as the hammock will deteriorate. When storing your hammock it is a good idea to twist the arms together to avoid tangling.

KIDS AND THE HAMMOCK
With kids it’s best to have a NO SHOES, BUCKLES OR CATCHY THINGS rule. Teach your kids to get in and out on their own. FOR SAFETY ALWAYS GET IN TO THE HAMMOCK BOTTOM FIRST - NEVER FOOT FIRST!
